Please read my new story and tell me what you think of it. Also, please vote for me because that’s the only way I can feel love.
Each faction gets two named enemies for so-called boss fights. Here are two examples, the first from the Warlock faction and the other from the Ougluks. Notice the Warlock boss is holding a BFG (Big F’ing Gun).
I’ve now completed all of the miniature sheets, a total of 15 pages in all. This includes the larger 2’x2’ minis (see example).
Besides the 3 main factions featured in Heroes of the Imperium, there’s also another group that I’m simply calling “Unaffiliated.” These are critters and other baddies that can be added into games either randomly or planned. Here’s three examples, in order, the Six-Eyed Stalker, Bone Serpent (*snicker*), and the Death Lotus.
I wanted to show this sheet of miniatures b/c it displays the text/symbols. Basically, the front base of each mini will show the faction icon (in this case Feran) and the back base will have the name of the faction and the unit. I decided not to number them, but I think that’s something the players could do pretty easily, and I could always add numbers later based on feedback if it comes to that. :-)
Last night and today I was working hard on the cover art. Here’s what I have atm, although it’s a work in progress. I would like to see if people like this so please let me know!
Note, this is a lower resolution version so the colors in the title are a little wonky…
I started to put the paper miniatures onto sheets. Here’s the first one I’ve done so far, in this case, some of the Feran faction. I’m undecided about how to differentiate between minis of the same type. I’m certainly going to put their type name on the base, but I may or may not add a number as well…
AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE #1 3-page Preview!
I can finally reveal some of the interior artwork I am doing for the Afterlife WIth Archie book - you guys are gonna really enjoy this title :D
Acclaimed Harvey Award-winning writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s (Stephen King’s Carrie) jaw-dropping script comes to undead life with the help of Eisner award-winning artist Francesco Francavilla (Guardians of the Galaxy) who deftly injects horror and fear into the once idyllic, safe town of Riverdale.
AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE hits comic shops Oct. 9 and will be Archie’s first direct market only, NOT for all ages, horror title.
Make sure to pre-order your copy today!
Here are three board markers I’ve created. The first is a Spawn marker that’s placed on the board to show where an enemy (random or not) will appear. The second is an Objective marker, which can be used to show where a goal is located. The last is a Container marker that will hold items once the hero lands on it. Each marker is 1’x1’, the size of a board square.
